random things

You don’t know much about me. Let's fix that. Here are a few facts, opinions and perspectives
—a peek into my brainium.

  1. The best ideas are always simple. If too complicated, throw it out.

  2. I’m 110% addicted to books.

  3. I am an OCD. Things are and must follow a certain order. For the sake of my mental hygiene.

  4. Early career preferences, in order: ballerina (shortstop), social psychologist (mind magician), storyteller (ah, the power of words!), some sort of creative (designer)

  5. I love, love, lurrrrrve psychology. I constantly soak up the newest studies like a bone-dry sea sponge and never miss one single TED talk about it. The human brain fascinates me and some psychologists are just stupid.

  6. According to my friends and family, I’m a ‘commitaphobe’.

  7. “Too much” is relative, they say. Almost every time it is.

  8. I can't remember the last time I was bored. It's been years.

  9. I love all things British when comes to entertainment. But especially their humour. What is it about the UK that breeds such aural pleasure?

  10. Federer, not Nadal.

  11. Charles Bukowski was a genius IMHO, and I’m super upset with myself for figuring that out only recently.

  12. Favourite words: serendipity, knowledge, troisième, Ireland.

  13. I kneel at the feet of Oscar Wilde. Pure genius. Don't get me started unless you have 20 minutes or more.

  14. I subscribe to more magazines than you've got socks. The Atlantic, Entertainment Weekly, The Paris Review, Wallpaper, Fast Company, Esquire, The New Yorker, and Psychology Today are at the teetering top of the stack. It's a problem.

  15. I don’t particularly like to share my soundtracks. Music isn’t shareable and if you think I’m being unreasonable prove me wrong.
